About Us 2

Hospice care has been in the United States for more than 40 years. Once a grassroots program, hospice care was first initiated and operated in the United States by volunteers who sought to bring honor and dignity to end-of-life care, and to create a compassionate, humane and individualized experience for the patient and family. Now, hospice care is a mainstream program paid for by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance companies. Even so, hospice care is not widely known, and most people wait too long before seeking the comprehensive benefits that hospice care provides. We urge you to learn about the benefits of hospice care, and to select a hospice provider in the same way you select other medical services. There are differences between hospices. Learn more about us and how we are different.
